North, past the edge of wiser maps, there is an ice-wracked part of the Zee. And where the ice is thickest, there is a gate.

The walk back to the jetty is slow and cold; so is rowing between the ice floes, back to your ship. If you are buoyed by having glimpsed the stars, your frigid crew doesn't notice. The bo'sun greets you simply by asking: "Where next, Sir?"
